Clash of anatomies – fantastical poem
there is a rat inside little Julie
that likes to swing its neck all the time
merely a routine movement of disapproval
[left……………..right, left………………...right]
she tries to cover it with her skin
like a mother covers her baby with a blanket
but its neck and tail grow terribly
one of these days from the inside of her body
with its dorsal spines
it will unstitch the limits of anatomy
one of these day dressed in fire and scales
it will open its mouth and indulge in everything
