Ultima vară când

îți promit
este ultima varā
când mai privesc stelele urcată pe gard
legănându-mi picioarele

când îmi mai atârn brațele
peste scândurile de lemn
asteptând sã treacă
secundele
bucurându-mã
că pentru un minut
greutatea nu mi-am susținut-o
singură

când mai tulbur noaptea
ca să număr
visele
dintr-un mic oraș

I promise
this is the last summer
when I look at the stars
perched on the fence
swinging my legs

when I hang my arms
over the wooden planks
waiting for
the seconds to pass
grateful
that for one minute
I didn't have to carry
my own weight

when I disturb the night
just to count the dreams
of a small town.
